On April 6, 1998 the Village of Addison established the Addison Historical District. 

On that date, the Century House at 129 Army Trail Road, a private residence at 137 Army Trail Road, and an empty lot between them were designated at historic landmarks.

On April 19, 1999, the Addison Historical District was enlarged to include St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, built in 1906, Concord Lutheran School, which is affiliated with it, and St. Paul's parsonage.
