ACTV – Addison Community Television

Addison Community Television has been providing local public access programming to residents since 1982, and is one of only a few public access stations in the Chicagoland area to provide 24-hour a day, 7-days a week programming.

On Comcast Cable Channel 6, or AT&T U-Verse Channel 99, residents may watch coverage of the board meetings of four different taxing bodies, including live coverage of the Village Board and its committee meetings.  

Prior to the Village's weekly meetings, Before the Board gives a preview of meeting agendas, along with a look at issues facing our elected officials.  

Informational programming is produced by various taxing bodies and community agencies, and Addiscene, the local newsmagazine, provides previews and coverage of events throughout the community. 

In addition, programming from outside the community, such as coverage of the Illinois Legislature through the Illinois Channel, and American Democracy Television, can also be seen.

The head of the Cable Television Department is Community Relations Director Don Weiss.
