Water Billing

Water bills are issued by the Village bimonthly and include the cost of garbage pickup, water and sewer service and user charge. For water billing questions, please call 630/693-7570.

Water bills are due 21 days after the billing date. Payments not received by the due date will incur a 10 percent penalty fee for the water and sewer portion.  Accounts which are unpaid after 40 days from the billing date are subject to disconnection.

Bills can be mailed in the return envelope provided with your bill to the Village's Collection Office – please allow 5 - 7 days for mail processing.  In addition, it may be dropped in the white Village drop box in front of Village Hall at One Friendship Plaza, or may be paid in person at the Collection Window during the following hours: Monday 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; Tuesdays - Fridays 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.  Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

The Finance Director is Roseanne Benson.

You may arrange to have your bill automatically debited from your bank account.  To download information and an application, click here.

Senior citizens may receive a 50 percent discount on their garbage bill. Residents age 65 or older should come to the Collection Office at Village Hall with their current real estate tax bill, showing that they receive the senior homestead exemption, or they must apply for said exemption at their local township office.

In addition, to receiving the senior citizen discount, the individual must be the legal owner of the residence and reside at that address.
