Christmas Tree Removal

Christmas tree pickup service is available throughout January.

The Public Works Department will conduct a Village-wide sweep beginning each Monday in January.  Please place your Christmas tree on the parkway on Sunday night for collection by Village crews on Monday. The Christmas Tree Pickup program will end after the last Monday in January.

Nails, tinsel, ornaments and lights must be removed, along with Christmas tree bags and tree bases. Evergreen wreaths and garland containing wire will not be accepted.

The above items can cause damage to the chipper machine and will pollute the wood chips with debris that is eventually redistributed to the residents upon further refining into mulch.
