Street Light Outages

To report a street light out, call the Public Works Department at 620-2020. Most street lights have a number inscribed on the pole which will help crews locate the exact light that is out. If you do not have this number when you call, please give an exact address of where the light is located.

Should you accidentally knock down a street light, report it to the Addison Police Department at once. Do not attempt to move the pole out of the way because it may carry a current of live electricity. Keep others away until the police or Village crews arrive.

The Village is gradually replacing concrete poles with those made of aluminum, but many still remain. Should you notice serious deterioration of a concrete pole, please notify the Public Works Department at 630/620-2020.
