  • Schools: Addison has a long and storied tradition of excellent academics. Today, the village has seven public elementary schools, a junior high school and high school, as well as opportunities for higher education 
  • Library: the new Addison Public Library is state-of-the-art
  • Parks: celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2009, the Addison Park District offers many opportunities for fun and learning
  • Fire District: Addison Fire Protection District #1 is active throughout the community encouraging fire safety, and offers many safety related programs
