FARMERS MARKET CONTINUES ON FRIENDSHIP PLAZA
Wider Variety Offered by New Vendors
The second year of the Village
of Addison’s Farmers Market has begun, and visitors can enjoy an even wider
variety than last year. The Farmers Market is held every Sunday morning,
beginning at 7:30 a.m., on Friendship Plaza in front of Village Hall (southeast
corner of Lake Street and Kennedy Drive.)
“In addition to the fruits and
vegetables, we have added vendors that offer bread, cheese and even chocolate,”
said Special Events Coordinator Angelo Sorce.
Vendors include:
- McIntosh Orchards – fruits &
berries, maple syrup, cut flowers, cheese
- All Alaska Seafood Co. –
Alaskan Salmon and artisan cheeses
- Jeffrey Farms – Southern
Illinois vegetables
- Uncle’s Gourmet Bake Shop –
Italian pastries, cookies, cakes
- Breadsmith – European bread
- Country Fresh Flowers
- LuLu’s Chocolates –
handmade, gourmet treats
- Also: potted perennials,
artisans & more
