ANNUAL FALL FEST TO BE HELD OCTOBER 28

Village of Addison, Green Meadow Partner for Day of Fun, Entertainment & Prizes

The Village of Addison and Green Meadow Shopping Center will sponsor the annual Addison Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 from noon until 6 p.m. at the Village Hall, One Friendship Plaza.

Halloween activities will include a Pumpkin Decorating Contest, as well as Costume Contests for both children and pets. Prizes will be awarded in various categories, including Most Creative and Funniest.

For those who simply want to enjoy the season, there will still be plenty to do – a German Oompa Band will be on hand for entertainment; a Civil War Encampment will hold demonstrations; and the Addison Police Department will take Children’s Photo I.D.s, and hold a Child Safety Seat Check.

Inside Village Hall, visitors can enjoy the School District 4 art exhibit, and seasonal cartoons and movies will be played for the children.
