MISS ADDISON SCHOLARSHIP CONTEST JULY 27

Applications Due July 2

Three scholarships will be awarded and new Miss Addison will be crowned, at the “Miss Addison 2010 Pageant” on July 27 at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall Rotunda, 1 Friendship Plaza.

Miss Addison will receive a $1,500 scholarship; first runner up will be awarded a $500 scholarship; and second runner up will be awarded a $250 scholarship.

Applications must be returned to Lucille Zucchero at the Village of Addison, 1 Friendship Plaza, Addison IL 60101 no later than Friday, July 2. Applications are available at Village Hall, or can be downloaded from the Village website at www.AddisonAdvantage.org/bulletins.shtml.

Applicants must be residents of Addison, between the ages of 17 and 21. Applications must include the signed scholarship application and essay; letter of recommendation; and transcript or most recent report card, showing current Grade Point Average. Contestants need to be available on July 20 at 6 p.m. for a meeting with Pageant Committee and judges, and on July 27 for the Contest itself.

The pageant will be judged by Jimmy Narducci of One Salon & Spa in Oak Brook; Panorea Lekkas-Bakutis, former Addison Village Clerk, and a representative from Elmhurst College
