Addison area residents have served the state of Illinois as public servants from the days of the Civil War all the way to the present. They have served in a variety of different roles ranging from Lieutenant Governor to State Senator and Representative. These local leaders came from different ethnic and social backgrounds and professions. Each, in his or her own way, has made a singular impact on the history of Addison.
Summer Craft Show and Expanded Museum Hours
Tuesday, August 7, Addison By The Slice/National Night Out
The Addison Historical Museum will once again host a summer craft show and have evening museum hours each Thursday evening of the Village of Addison's Rock 'N Wheels concert series. All items for sale are hand crafted or vintage. In addition, the museum is sponsoring a craft demonstration at the museum once per month.
Thursday July 12- Rebecca Tulloch will demonstrate spinning fiber into thread using an old fashioned spinning wheel.
