COVID-19 – Latest updates

Village officials continue to communicate regularly with our local taxing bodies, as well as township, county and state officials, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here are the latest changes and updates:

Senior Shopping Hours – the following local businesses are offering shopping hours for senior citizens, who are most vulnerable to the virus:
Aldi: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. (also including pregnant moms)
Caputo's: Tuesdays through Thursdays, 6 - 7:30 a.m.
Jewel: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7 - 9 a.m.
Jimenez: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 8 - 9 a.m.
Len's Ace Hardware: Daily, 8 - 9 a.m.
Walmart: Tuesdays, 6 - 7 a.m.

Addison Township Food Pantry – food distribution for seniors only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 - 9 a.m. and all other clients, 9 a.m. - noon. Pre-bagged food will be brought directly to your vehicle.

Free meals for students – school districts 4 and 88 continue to offer free breakfast and lunch for students under 18.  Locations and distribution times are being consolidated.  For the latest, click here.

Restaurants – our local restaurants cannot allow patrons to dine-in, but the majority are offering delivery, carryout, curbside or drive through.  Please support our local businesses during this difficult time.
