Fall Community Recycling Event

The Village of Addison's Fall Community Recycling Event will be on Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Addison Trail High School, 213 N. Lombard Road. Open to Addison residents only.
Acceptable items are... STATION 1:  Answering machines, Battery backups and UPS, Camcorders, Cameras, Cellular/mobile phones, Computer peripherals (keyboards, mice, etc.), Desktop computers, DVD/CD players, Fax machines, Ink cartridges, Laptops, Mailroom equipment, Networking equipment and cables, Pagers, Point-of-Sale equipment, Power and accessory cables, Power tools (including batteries), Printers, Projectors, Radios, Receivers, Satellite and cable equipment, Shredders, Speakers, Smart phones, Surge suppressors and power strips, Tablets, Toner, VCRs, Video game consoles, Walkie-talkies, CRT/LCD monitors, Televisions (2 per vehicle) including CRT, flat-screen, projection and console units.  STATION 2: Documents (limit3boxes). STATION3: Books, Records, School & office supplies, Crayons, Musical instruments, Eyeglasses, Holiday lights, Keys.  STATION 4 (ADDISON VFW): Flags, Hearing aids.  STATION 5: Cardboard, Metal cans, Glass bottles and jars, Paper, Plastic bottles & jugs, Cartons.  STATION 6: All size fluorescent bulbs. 
Items not accepted include: Hazardous Waste, Smoke Detectors, Fire Extinguishers, Furniture, Prescription or Over-the Counter Drugs, and Microwaves.
