Household Hazardous Waste & Recycling Event Oct. 14

The Village of Addison Fall Household Hazardous Waste Collection and Recycling Event will be Saturday, October 14 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Addison Trail High School.  Open to Addison residents only.
Co-sponsored by Republic Services.
Acceptable items are:  electronics, document shredding (three box limit, no plastic binders), all batteries, smoke detectors, cardboard, TVs (limit two per car), aerosols,  motor oil and gasoline, chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, fluorescent bulbs, plastics, glass, holiday lights, eye glasses, hearing aids, fire extinguishers, solvents, cleaners, oil-based paint, American flags, keys, musical instruments, records, books, CFL light bulbs, one and twenty-pound propane tanks, and bleach.
No latex paint, furniture, drugs or microwaves will be accepted.
