Recycling
The Village of Addison currently offers residents two methods to recycle their regular household garbage. Addison residents have a choice of visiting the Addison Recycling Center or participating in the residential curbside recycling program.

These should be placed in recycling totes or any clear plastic recycling bags.
Recycling is accepted along with regular refuse on normal garbage days; it should not exceed 80 pounds.
Please note that the following items are not accepted as part of the curbside recycling program: toys; motor oil or any other petroleum product containers, such as antifreeze or transmission fluid; plastic bags; pesticide containers; light bulbs; plate glass windows; Pyrex; ceramic; shirt hangers.
